Siren continued

The steps that I've taken whilst painting this image so far. As you can see I completely restarted the hair, changing the silhouette it made into a stronger form.









The hair so far has proved to be the most difficult aspect of this image- I think it's because of all the twists and turns. I'm also not used to painting hair this light, and it's not a case of being able to paint with just blacks and greys to create white(ish) hair. It took me several go's to realise that I need to include a more diverse range of colours including blue, green, teal, purple and yellow. You may not be able to see them in the hair, but they are definitely there.
