Face sketches

So after quickly sketching out this guy, I decided I wanted to develop him a bit further. The face is what appealed to me, and so I quickly sketched these out whilst taking a break from bigger pieces.






I'm unsure as to whether I'll do anything with them yet, but I do prefer the top drawing. I'm tempted to do a detailed portrait, focusing on form and textures. I want to get my other WIP's further first before deciding whether or not to continue with this species.
